Emotional Intelligence is a combination of many things. We all are socially bonded, each of us have our own emotions and even have different ways of letting them out.
It's a must have ability in this modern generation.
How do we India's use Emotional Intelligence to our benefit?
Do we use it unknowingly as well?
Emotional Intelligence was developed by Peter Salovey and John Mayer. In simple words it is the ability to understand, use, and manage your own emotions in positive ways with others, overcome challenges and defuse conflict.
No doubt that Pandemic taught us many things. But it would be misleading if I say, that this Pandemic has only taught us positive things.
It has undoubtedly taught us how negative a situation might get, how to live in fear and how to believe despite of that fear.
It even left most of the people depressed, anxious, broken and alone. This pandemic might go away, but the lesson it taught us won't.
To me it is nothing short of a great resurrection.
Sometimes, it's ok to be alone and figure things out.
It's ok to give yourself some time to heal.
It's ok to overthink about something, it's ok to have multiple opinions and it's ok to share how you feel.
It is ok to take a break from the news. you are not obligated to be informed by the minute. your mental health is just as important right now. take a break from social media, from reading the news. allow yourself to tune out from the anxiety and the paranoia. its ok to do so. #mentalhealth#CoronavirusLockdown
